"Rewind to the 1990s when the only widespread and affordable internet access was dial-up at incredible data rates of 56k (if the modem pool wasn't busy). In our Lisle neighborhood neither Ma Bell nor the cable company raced to offer high speed access because each seemed to want a monopoly in the area. Along came WOWAccess with blazing fast (at the time) 128k *guaranteed* data rates at a price point only double my current dial-up rate. Times have changed... Available data rates have skyrocketed and glitzy internet promotions by cable and telco services are everywhere. But I'm still a WOWaccess customer... Why? The reasons are plain: Data rates have grown with the times *but my monthly fee has remained the same all these years*. I very seldom experience any difficulties with connectivity but when I do I don't have to navigate a long "press 1 if" menu and seldom have to leave a message. The technician answering the help desk number is friendly, "knows his stuff" and arranges prompt service calls when needed. Three cheers for a company that puts the customer first and stands behind their claims of high-speed reliable internet access.
